❝Good or bad thing that happened to us, they have every purpose to make us a better human.❞ - pages 57

Stories for Rainy Days is a project by Naela Ali where she writes about things that make her feel warm, completed with her own illustrations. She hopes this book will make whoever read it feel warm and nice.

This book presents stories that are so beautiful, as well as felt to the heart. A lot of the story told about relationship. About luck when having someone who can make us thankful, happiness when together, sadness when separated, sweet conversations that remember the past, and about other stories that will amaze you.

There is one story, a story that is only published on one page, the story of the father's love. It tells about love that never hurt.

❝There is this kind of love, so pure and beautiful. Love with no conditions. Love that knows nothing but to make you happy. A dedicated love of a man called 'father' A love that will never break you. A love so tender and strong. A love that lasts a lifetime.❞ - pages 99

I thinks, I could relate with almost of the story, because sometimes, I was in that condition. Feeling lonely, sad, and other. Then, I felt this book is "so me". Even I feel into the story.

And yeah, I agree with the author that this book is actually suitable for reading when the rain arrives, according to the title, Stories for Rainy Days. But unfortunately, the rainy season hasn't arrived yet. No problem, the most important thing what the author wrote I still can understand well. 😅

Many messages the author delivered through this book. One of them is patience in facing anything. No matter how many problems there are, we must be patient and stay strong. In addition, you will know the definition of love in this book. So, let's dive in these colorful stories.

❝She really loves her cactus.     Unfortunately, she can’t hug or even touch it even if she wanted to. But she loves it anyway. Because love is not about touching, it is about caring and giving.❞     - pages 151
